Twelvefoot Falls on the Pike River on a beautiful autumn day. This Marinette County, Wisconsin waterfall is very easy to view ... just a short walk from the parking lot in the County Park. The Pike River is one of four Wisconsin Wild Rivers that were designated by the 1965 state Legislature. The watershed feeding the river is about 310 square miles with over 300 miles of streams. The landscape is rugged with many forest types throughout the river's course as it tumbles through numerous rapids and over waterfalls before joining the Menominee River.
