This is a super easy falls to reach and view, since it is along the north side of a 4-lane highway, US-2, just east of Iron Mountain, Michigan (near Quinnesec). It is located at a small wayside with restrooms and a water pump! There are 3 drops to the falls and the main one is about 10 feet high. The water, that flows along Fumee Creek and over the falls, comes from the Fumee Lake Natural Area and it then flows south into the Menominee River. The Natural Area provides a total of five miles of undeveloped shoreline.
