Nature's Umbrellas (JM-24303)

In many of our rich woods, Mayapples cover large patches in the spring, completely covering the ground with their broad leaves. This native perennial species grows best in moist, shady woodlands in the southern half of Wisconsin. Each plant produces a single, nodding, white flower usually in May, and the large leaves are typically 12-15 inches across.
